LASER WOOD WITH ECOMARK:

DURABLE, SUSTAINABLE, RESISTANT

Due to the versatility of the application range of lasers, laser marking is ideally suited for marking and decorating wood and wood composite materials. CO2 lasers enable laser markings that offer excellent dark (black) or light (whitish) contrast. Even the finest markings are thus additionally highlighted and are very easy to read.

Today, laser marking of wood and wood products is mainly used in the furniture industry and building material production as a quality assurance method and for tracking. Other areas of application are packaging, gift and decorative items, promotional items, arts and crafts products, toys or Christmas decorations, i.e. products where decorations and personalisation contribute to individual added value.

Codes and origin markings, logos, quality seals and graphics or ornaments for decoration and branding are typical marking needs where laser engraving can show its strengths.

LASER MARKING: THE BEST SOLUTION

FOR SOLID WOOD, PLYWOOD & WOOD COMPOSITES

The great advantage of laser marking over printing or sticker methods: Laser markings are superiorly durable and long-lasting, as they are abrasion and water resistant. In addition, even aggressive environmental influences such as sunlight, wetness or temperature fluctuations have hardly any effect on the marked surface. Therefore, laser marking on wood is extremely durable and thus ideal for product tracing. In addition, laser marking is an extremely robust, resistant marking method that always works reliably and smoothly, especially in the rough production environment of the wood industry and during further processing.

Flexibility is one of the great strengths of EcoMark laser marking machines. Thanks to the machine design and the special EcoMark software, a wide variety of marking, individualisation or serialisation can be realised in a time- and cost-saving manner. Long changeover times for the machines are not necessary. Our machines are designed for efficient, fast and smooth processes.

You can laser solid wood, plywood or wood composite materials. CO2 lasers are mainly used for these organic, non-metallic materials. The laser process carbonisation is used for this: Pigments burnt by the laser beam lead to a dark discolouration of the wood with an excellent contrast effect even on the finest details.
