A Natural Branding machine labels gently, contactlessly and naturally, without additives or chemicals and with minimal use of resources. There are no restrictions for food - not even for organic products. The process completely eliminates the need for chemical additives, packaging materials, inks or stickers. GENTLE LASER TECHNOLOGY FOR SENSITIVE PRODUCTS

Natural branding uses a laser to depigment only the uppermost cell layer of fruit and vegetables or the fruit skin and only removes the outermost layer of the skin so that the product is not affected or damaged. For other foods such as baked goods and confectionery, eggs, cheese or meat products, only a wafer-thin outer layer is ever lasered.

One minute an avocado, the next a courgette - no problem: laser engraving with your EcoMark Natural Branding machine requires no machine set-up time, and the control software can be adapted quickly and easily, even without specialist knowledge.

INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY

The laser systems of our Natural Branding series are built according to a modular principle. Even the entry-level machine is equipped with a conveyor belt so that objects can be marked "on the fly", i.e. without stopping.

The products can be placed individually or in finished packs or boxes, or even poured chaotically onto the conveyor belt. The integrated 3D camera automatically detects the position and orientation of the objects to be lasered. In a few milliseconds, the information is transmitted to the laser and each product is marked according to preset criteria. All machines can automatically compensate for height differences of 44 mm (+/- 22 mm).

Depending on the space available or the product spectrum, the machine can be adapted to special requirements. We not only optimise the laser process, but also include the processes upstream and downstream of the machine. With individually coordinated infeed and outfeed systems, we optimise the entire process and reduce the biggest cost driver, personnel costs, to a minimum. In this way, we offer the best solution for every customer!

Individualisation and adaptation to existing production lines is possible at any time. In this way, large savings can be realised with just a few resources. If your requirements change over time, the machine can also be supplemented with additional modules at a later date. The laser protection and the CE declaration are always included.

CLEVER SOFTWARE

Many can do complicated - we prefer to make it simple for you. And
relies fully on user-friendly software with a clear display and touchpad operation. It is easy to operate and allows you to change over production with just a few clicks. Intuitively, without a great deal of training, and without special PLC knowledge. Parameters are defined in advance and can be called up in seconds. Even small corrections for new batches are done in no time at all.

FLEXIBLE MARKETING

Marketing campaigns are sales boosters - and thanks to our laser machines, they can be communicated directly on the food products. Just like promotional logos or other messages that you want to bring to the customer.

REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS

Many customers ask us how much CO2 can be saved with our Natural Branding technology. The answer to this is not quite simple. After all, many parameters play a role here. But we can tell you this much: One of our biggest customers has done the maths: In the branding of ginger alone, he was able to save 68,000 kilograms of packaging material per year. That corresponds to about 310 tonnes of CO2 or 2.5 million kilometres driven by an average car!

Branding directly on the skin of a fruit or directly on the peel of vegetables - EcoMark technology makes this possible. Repackaging, films, adhesive labels, etc. can be dispensed with. This is economically more favourable and protects the environment and climate - which is also really good for consumers in the trade!

EASIER THAN STICKERS

Laser marking, including handling, costs from 0.3 cents for a kiwi, for example. This corresponds roughly to the procurement costs of a sticker. With a sticker, however, there are the additional costs of application and administration. With many products, such as kiwis, there is also the risk that the sticker will not stick to the peel - then all the effort was in vain. Special adhesives that adhere well are often not approved for every product. In addition, the sticker is usually made of plastic, which later causes problems in the composting plant. EcoMark Natural Branding saves you all these problems.

BETTER THAN PLASTIC PACKAGING

The economic advantage is clearest here. On average, a package weighs about 20 grams, plus
a sticker for labelling. So the packaging costs are sometimes even higher than the product costs themselves. Furthermore
there is the problem of over-portioning if the packaging unit is sold by weight. This results in losses of up to 5 %! In addition, a complete packaging unit has to be disposed of as soon as a single item in the packaging is spoiled! This results in double damage through 100 % loss of sales and additional disposal costs. By avoiding packaging by means of laser engraving, the CO2 footprint of the products is significantly reduced, as every tonne of plastic saved reduces crude oil consumption and protects the environment.
