It is necessary to differentiate here. As only organic products can be set out in organic shops, branding is not required here. For example, in supermarkets, where conventional goods are offered alongside organic products, the latter have to be marked with an organic certification to show that the producers adhere to the EU organic regulations. The EU ecological regulation controls precisely when a product may be called “organic” or “ecological”.
