LASER LABELLING OF TAGS, FILMS, PAINT AND LEATHER
Films and tags are very easy to label contactlessly with a fibre laser or CO2 laser. Whether it is bar codes, serial numbers, company logos / names operating panels in the automotive industry, durability and ease of reading are guaranteed.

Laser labelling can be used for colour removal and colour change on foils. Colour removal usually involves multi-layered films where the topmost colour layer is removed. This produces an easily visible contrast. This is also possible for single-colour films if these differ in colour from the workpiece they are covering. Laser labelling does not cause any damage to the sealing properties despite the removal.
Laser labelling is also suitable to use for colour change on foils. These are usually covered with a transparent laminate layer underneath which the laser labelling is produced with a clearly visible contrast. The colour change means that product information is labelled in a clearly legible and durable way.
Paint is also suitable for laser labelling. With this form of labelling, the paint is taken away from the workpiece via removal of the material. The day and night design is a typical example of its use. Very good contrasts can be produced, depending on the colour composition of the workpiece and the paint. The removal of the material from the paint is particularly good for materials that are not suitable for laser labelling.
With the laser labelling of leather, the topmost layer of material is vaporised. It does not usually matter whether it is natural or artificial leather for contactless branding. However, it should be noted that some artificial leather contains PVC, which means that noxious gases may be emitted when processing. The usually tough leather material becomes highly contrasted and is sometimes laser labelled deeply and therefore refined when material is removed. The laser labelling of leather therefore scores very high due to the variety of usage options. These include shoes, clothing such as belts and jackets, briefcases and advertising media. The CO2 laser labels any leather materials cleanly, durably and precisely.
